In Photoshop.
Before beginning main edit, duplicate the background layer and do any skin cleanup using the patch tool, healing brush, or clone stamp tool.
1. Sparkle 100% opacity. Paint over eyes using a soft, white brush to sharpen and bring out detail. HS
2. Blue Eyed Beauty, using a 5% opacity soft white brush, paint over the irises of the eye to enhance color. HS
3. Merge It, this creates a visible stamp pixel layer. Select the Dodge Tool (O on the keyboard) set the range to highlights at a low exposure of about 10% and paint it over the catchlights in the eyes to bring out the sparkle and make eyes appear sharper. Switch the tool to Burn, select shadows range at about 5% and brush it over the lash line and around the dark edges of the irises. HS
4. Yank the Yellow, invert the layer mask to black and paint with a white brush over teeth to whiten. Could use Pearly Whites action instead. HL
5. Flawless Face, paint over skin with a soft white brush to smooth skin. For additional skin texture, open the action group and increase opacity of the Subtle Details layer or duplicate it. HS
6. Bland to Brilliant 100%. This gives an overall pop and boost to the image. Adjust internal action layers as needed. I turned down the brighten layer just a bit for this photo. For this step, you could use any number of different “base actions” such as, Dull to Dazzling, Spicy, Emerge, Hide & Seek, Cascade, Lavish. CH
7. Evermore 35% opacity. This gives a nice warm creamy tone to the entire photo. Evermore is great for pretty caucasian skin tones. I turned off the film grain layer for this photo. I also like Euphoria from the Creative HeART Collection for giving caucasian skin a nice, warm and creamy look. HL
8. Aurora (light leak) 15% opacity. Change the blending mode to suit your photos. Here, I changed it to overlay and used a black brush to lightly remove the Aurora color effect off her skin. HL
9. Smooth Polish 100% opacity. Painted over the background with a soft white brush to enhance the smooth creamy look. HL
10. Hue & Saturation adjustment layer. To remove the extra reddish warmth in the skin around the shadowed edges, I clicked the hand & arrow button in the H&S layer, then sampled a spot on the skin that was too warm. This selected the reds channel in the H&S layer. I decreased the saturation and increased the lightness to taste. After inverting the layer mask to black, I painted the effect over the skin that was too warm.
11. Light Optimizer 26%. Invert layer mask and paint selectively over face and eyes to brighten. HS
